Course admission requirements:
- Knowledge of basic computer concepts and how to work with Windows. Simple knowledge of Microsoft Word is preferred.
- The student must have at home or at work a device with AutoCAD software.
- No previous experience needed, just a little background on the principles of engineering grammar.
Course description:
- The AutoCAD 2d course is for drawing all two-dimensional engineering drawings only, which is widely used in all engineering and industrial fields, as it has become one of the requirements of the labor market how to prepare drawings with very high accuracy ready for implementation, whether architecture, mechanics, electricity, or any field, or even directly implemented on machines such as Laser, CNC, or all kinds of routers
- At the end of the AutoCAD course, the student who has completed all the exercises required of him will be qualified to deal with the labor market and join any other programs or courses that require AutoCAD proficiency.
- Note: During our study of the AutoCAD program, we learn the two-dimensional drawing in all its details with high accuracy and speed, which is one of the most important features and characteristics of this program, but the AutoCAD 2D program cannot deduce the third projection. This feature is available in AutoCAD 3D drawing only, where the drawings are dealt with in a different way from the normal drawing.
- Commands are studied in a general way that is not related to any field such as electricity, mechanics or architecture, for example, so that the student is able to apply what he studied to his field of specialization without difficulty or any problems.
Topics covered during the course:
- An introduction to the AutoCAD program and its various uses and applications.
- Getting to know the main icons of the program and discussing all the existing icons and their uses.
- Learn how to deal with entering commands on the program through ribbon and also through the command bar and the different ways of drawing on AutoCAD, whether in coordinates or dimensions
- Explain plot and how to print at an appropriate scale.
