In conjunction with the Egypt Copt Foundation and World STEM Week, an international event aimed at raising student awareness of science and technology and highlighting the value of learning modern technology, the Salesian Institute hosted 252 male and female third-year middle school students from 36 different schools over the course of two days.
Mr. Rami Halim, the Egyptian director of the institution, greeted the visitors at the start of each day. In addition, he discussed the significance of having the necessary technological tools to meet the difficulties posed by the development of artificial intelligence in the future. Additionally, he clarified that STEM-related professions are not exclusive to any one field.

On his part, through Mr. Michael Wassef, the EgyptEcopt Foundation’s Director of the Life Skills Program, regarding the significance of science and knowledge as vital instruments for growth.
Science and innovations are only valuable instruments when they are applied to the betterment of humanity, as Don Pietro, the man in charge of the Salesian schools in the Middle East, likewise stated.
The children spent the day in six instructional stations learning about robots, electrical engineering, programming, mental math, and automotive technology. There was also a talk on human development. The administration of the school would like to sincerely thank each and every one of the participants:
