The Don Bosco Salesian Institute in Cairo had the honor of welcoming H.E. Mr. Mohamed Gebran, Minister of Labor, during a special visit that marked the signing of two new cooperation agreements between the Ministry and the Instituteโs branches in Cairo and Alexandria.
The objective of this partnership is to train and qualify Egyptian youth in professions aligned with the needs of both the local and international labor markets, while granting them certificates recognized both nationally and internationally.
๐ง Free Training & International Certifications
Through this cooperation, trainees will benefit from fully-funded training programs across several high-demand technical fields, including:
Electrical control systems, mechanics, electronics, welding, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), languages (English and Italian), and life and workplace skills.
All training takes place within the Instituteโs state-of-the-art workshops and laboratories, under the guidance of qualified and experienced instructors.
๐ Achievements in Numbers
In the Cairo branch: A total of 2,234 trainees have graduated so far, out of a targeted 3,134 trainees over two years.
In the Alexandria branch: 456 trainees have been trained to date, out of a planned total of 800 trainees within the same timeframe.

Father Morcos Helmy , Director of the Salesian Institute in Cairo, emphasized that this cooperation represents a significant step forward in supporting and preparing Egyptian youth for the job market through robust training programs and real employment opportunities. He noted that the Institute remains committed to continually updating its training programs to keep pace with evolving market needs.
Father Alejandro, Director of the Salesian Institute in Alexandria, also expressed his appreciation for the positive results achieved so far, reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to delivering the highest level of technical and vocational training.
