In an atmosphere filled with joy and gratitude, we celebrated the reopening of the church after five years of continuous renovation and development works, carried out in a spirit of cooperation, love, and generosity, accompanied by prayer and the sincere dedication of all. The church now shines once again, bearing witness to God’s faithfulness and to the efforts of everyone who contributed to this blessed work.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Pascual Chávez, former Rector Major of the Salesian Congregation, in the presence of Fr. Simon, the Provincial for the Middle East, along with the Salesian Fathers, collaborators, teachers, and staff from the houses of Sahel, Zeitoun, and Alexandria.

The celebration reaffirmed the spirit of the Salesian Family that unites us, as the mission of love and service was renewed in our hearts, following the example of our father, Saint John Bosco, renewing our constant commitment to serve the young with a fatherly heart and a spirit filled with hope.

The day concluded with a fraternal gathering and a gesture of loving hospitality, enriched by moments of Salesian animation that brought joy and brotherhood to all present.

“May we always be joyful in the Lord, working with love, and serving the young with a fatherly heart.”
