The Don Bosco Institute organizes a workshop on the selection criteria for identifying the Officers for the Job Placement Office within Promotion of Employment and Socio-economic Development Opportunities through a better quality TVET System in Sharkeya (PESDO) project

The Don Bosco Institute held a workshop on the selection criteria for identifying the Officers for the Job Placement Office in the presence of representatives from the Ministries of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, and the Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation (AICS). This initiative has been launched within the project of Promotion of Employment and Socio-economic Development Opportunities through a better quality TVET System in Sharkeya (PESDO) which is implemented by the Don Bosco Institute, under the framework of the Multi-Educational Programme for Employment Promotion in Migration-affected Areas (MEPEP) launched by the Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation in Egypt and funded by the European Union Emergency Fund.
The workshop aimed to define a methodology and define unified criteria for the process of selecting six job placement officers, as well as defining job duties and responsibilities, by jointly establishing a suitable template for their job profile and evaluating the candidates.
This workshop is a preliminary activity to establish a job placement office in the vocational training center in 10th of Ramadan City to provide the 2,500 graduates from Sharkeya Governorate with career guidance and guidance services, in addition to establishing partnerships with companies and organizing job fairs to provide them with internship and decent job opportunities.
