Course description:
The Salesian Institute offers this training program on disassembling, installing and maintaining mobile devices in the form of lessons divided into units that encourage participants to interact. The training program also includes real-world case studies to show how problems develop as technology advances.
Topics covered during the course:
- Identifying mobile networks and the idea on how they work and to identify the difference between direct and indirect current.
- Learn occupational safety, health and avoid occupational hazards.
- Identify the contents of the maintenance center and the tools that must be available in it.
- Getting acquainted with mobile generations, transmission and reception systems, and MTSO transfer centers.
- Electronic components, resistors and capacitors, their types, methods of connection and power supply uses.
- Learn the types of welding and its conditions (hot air, caustic, types of tin and bridge wire).
- Training on smart phone software (Samsung and Sony).

Course dates:
Total hours: 45
Lectures are held in the evening, two or three days a week.
Scoring method:
– 5% of behavior during the session.
– 5% of attendance and tardiness
– 20% of practical exercises.
– 20% mid-cycle exam.
– 50% of the final exam for the course.
Lowest passing score (60%)
