Course description:
The Salesian Institute offers this program on dismantling, installing and maintaining household refrigeration and air conditioning devices (one-door refrigerator – two doors – no frost – deep freezer – water cooler – window air conditioning – split air conditioning)
It deals with a general idea of refrigerating rooms, freezing rooms, central air conditioning (DX-chiller), display refrigerators, kitchen refrigerators, and car air conditioning.
The program is presented in the form of lessons divided into units that encourage participants to interact. The training program also includes real-world case studies to show how problems develop with advances in technology.
We welcome questions throughout the training program and during breaks.
Topics covered during the course:
Understanding the basic principles of refrigeration and air conditioning devices and how to deal with any device you meet even if it is not treated in the course.
Understanding of household refrigeration and air conditioning devices (one-door refrigerator – two doors – no frost – deep freezer – water cooler – window air conditioning – split air conditioning)
Cooling rooms, freezing rooms, central air conditioning (DX – chillers), display refrigerators, kitchen refrigerators and car air conditioning
Understand the maintenance work of air conditioning refrigeration devices, troubleshooting, installation and shipping
Determining the appropriate capacity for air conditioning in the place, preparing pipes and installation locations

Course dates:
Three times a week, two and a half hours each lecture.
Scoring method:
– 5% of behavior during the session.
– 5% of attendance and tardiness
– 20% of practical exercises.
– 20% mid-cycle exam.
– 50% of the final exam for the course.
Lowest passing score (60%)
