These sessions, which take place at the Don Bosco Institute in Alexandria, include: Today’s activities include a tour to the historic Alexandrian Library and a visit to the Don Bosco Institute of Alexandria, where students engage in a spiritual encounter discussing the significance of fasting for human existence and its role in enhancing the soul, going back to oneself, and having a meeting with God and the soul.
After the meeting, participants have some alone time to consider a few issues before engaging in dialogue circles for an open discussion. The sharing of the ideas generated by the dialogue circles marks the end of this meeting. There is entertainment-filled free time after this, and the students then have some time to spend praying and spending time at the institute’s church. The first church outside of Italy to be named after Saint John Bosco is called Don Bosco. Following that, the institute’s students travel to the Corniche, where they spend some time admiring the splendor of the Sea of Alexandria, the Mediterranean bride, where they end their day and head back to Cairo. All of the Institute’s students—roughly 1,000 male and female students—were excluded from these meetings on Monday, April 22. They had been going on for almost a month and a half, with an average of two trips per week.
