Job Services Office could not be such if they only involved companies and not young people or vice versa. The Job Services Office is a meeting point.
Throughout the course of formation, the students find in the Job Office a place in which to express their concerns about the world of work and in which to be supported to acquire an ever greater awareness and knowledge of what they will do once they complete their three-year qualification or the five-year diploma.
One of the goals of the Job office is to prepare the student for the job search, for the job selection and the environment in which he will go to work.
This takes place through coaching, individual interviews, the presentation of digital and social tools for work, company presentations and school-work exchange programs.
Very often, when the “ideas are confused”, these initiatives allow the student to “touch” the various departments of the companies and understand what his path might be.
Don Bosco accompanied his young people from school table to work desks; today very often workbenches have become increasingly automated workshops, environments in which the boundary between mechanics and information technology is increasingly thin …
With our training offers, in keeping with the times, and with the legacy of Don Bosco in our hearts, the Job Office tries to support our young people in this very important step which is the one that goes from training to the world of work. From adolescence to adulthood.
The job office: It is a service offered by Don Bosco Institute, free of charges, for every student and graduate from the institute seeking for a job, and open to any company looking to hire technicians in technical field.
The main objective of this office is to link the institute and companies to reinforce collaboration between the two parties (factory visits, summer internships, recruitment……………).
