The Salesian Don Bosco Institute, represented by its Director General, Father Pedro Garcia Pérez, and the Human Fraternity Foundation for Services, represented by Father Dr. Youannis Lahzi Gaid , Chairman of the Foundation’s Board , concluded an agreement for joint cooperation in supporting all charitable activities and supporting the national economy, by enhancing the effectiveness of the sustainable development strategy – Egypt Vision 2030.
The agreement between the two sides included cooperation to implement innovative and research projects, and provide specialized courses for students who are unable, in addition to providing the opportunity for the Institute’s students to participate in the charitable activities of the Human Fraternity Foundation. The Brotherhood Foundation will also support charitable projects in coordination with the Salesian Institute. In turn, the Institute will support the activities of the Human Fraternity Foundation in turn, the Institute will support the activities of the Human Fraternity Foundation in education and training field.
The two institutions agreed to implement humanitarian projects in the field of humanitarian relief, including extending a helping hand in cases of crises and disasters, to refugees and those fleeing conflict areas, providing health and psychological rehabilitation to victims of terrorism and wars, and providing medical aid to the poor and needy, in addition to adopting joint projects in the fields of motherhood and childhood. In the field of caring for orphans and widows, helping underprivileged students, in addition to projects to support the indigent, and contributing to endowment of food and clothing for the poor and needy.
The Salesian Don Bosco Institute is an international organization that was established in Egypt in 1926. It enjoys a distinguished position in the field of education and rehabilitation, and a constant readiness to contribute effectively in the field of community service within the framework of the state’s development plans. It works to educate and train the younger generation without distinction or discrimination. Through a five- or three-year technical or industrial educational path equivalent to the same training and qualification standards as the Italian higher institutes.
The Human Fraternity Foundation for Services is a non-profit organization that aims to support and promote human brotherhood and spread the values and principles of the Human Fraternity Document by helping the needy, supporting the poor, treating the sick, spreading the culture of brotherhood and coexistence, caring for needy and poor families, working in the field of childhood and motherhood, and caring for orphans, the elderly, and the sick. And people with disabilities, without discrimination, exclusion or preference due to race, color, gender, language, religion or lineage. The Foundation includes important and influential national figures in Egyptian society and members who believe in the principle of human brotherhood.
