The Don Bosco Salesian Institute always strives to organize outstanding scientific events that enhance knowledge and cultivate a love for exploration among its students. In this context, we celebrated Pi Greco Day, one of the most prominent global events in the field of mathematics!
The event featured a series of engaging activities, including:
-
Scientific lectures on the various methods of calculating the number π.
-
An online workshop in collaboration with an Italian school to discuss the importance of π in mathematics and science.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Rami Halim and Professor Kamal Mohamed for their outstanding efforts in organizing this scientific day, which contributed to enriching the students’ knowledge and fostering their passion for the world of numbers and equations. Additionally, the students presented 16 scientific presentations, which were delivered and discussed in Italian with Italian schools.
We would like to especially thank student Hamza Abdelrazek for designing an interactive competition that explains the concept of Pi Greco in a fun and simplified way.
